So far the first year of school has started out very rough. I was here on the first day which was Tuesday, but I had to leave during lunch for a dentist appointment. I was scheduled for a tooth extraction. I was very nervous getting into the dentist chair. A lot was going thorough my mind. I was thinking will they numb me up good? Will it hurt when they try to pull it out? But I tried to clear that out of my mind and just be glad that I was finally going to get this tooth that has been bothering me for the past year out! The doctor came in and made the decision to pull it out. So he got the Novocain out and numbed me up. About 15 minutes later, the tooth was finally out! I was happy and was thanking the doctors for getting it out of my mouth. So I got home and took the pain killer that was prescribed to me, and then headed to my bedroom where I crashed into my bed and went to sleep. When I woke up, it felt like I was punched in my face. I didn’t feel like eating anything. I was pretty much limited to a fluid based diet while the surgery area was healing. I could not drink any soda for the first 24 hours, and could not do any physical activity till healing was well established. It was very hard to talk as it hurt every time I moved my mouth. Some people that know me would wish that I was always like that.
