You have but one shot to get in the door of a prospective employer, a resume can be used as a key or a lock to that door. When job hunting you want to put your best foot forward.  Usually the first contact a prospective employer has with you is through your resume.  How that resume looks reflects how they will view you.  Is your resume professional or poorly written?  Does it convey your best qualifications or does it reveal serious weaknesses?  This WebQuest will guide you through the building of a very successful resume.
Your Employment Future
You are 18 and your parents have hinted that it is time for you to find a job. You've thought about getting a job, but you are not sure if you even know where to begin.  You will be visiting several sites that will teach you how to be successful in the job hunt. You will also complete a virtual interview. After completing the activity, you will be able to determine if you are prepared for the world of work.
