The first quote was very profound to me bacuase the whole movie pretty much. The prison guards were trying to tell Luke that if he communicates well and does what they tell him to do. he would stay out of the box. but in the end he was being sarcastic like he always did and said that quote and they shot him. They had tried warning him not to try to run away, but he didnt want to listen. They would have never shot him if he listened and communicated.

3. "That ditch is boss Keans ditch. And i told him that dirt in its your dirt. What's your dirt doin' in his ditch?''
