1) What is a carcinogen?

A carcinogen is a cancer causing agent; something that essentially is harmful and can cause cancer in the body. The smoke emitted from weed contains over 400 different types of carcingoens. One of the most common is banzyprene, which is known as a human carcingoen.

2)How do we know what a carcinogen is?

Weed smoke contains carcinogenic hydrocarbons; exposer to cannabis promotes cancer "under specific laboratory conditions", Lesions are found in the bronchial epithelium of weed smookers, which are similar to those lesions cause by tobbaco smokers, and weed tar results in tumors when painted on the skin of test animals. All of this information tells us that carcinognes are found in weed, and it proves that carcingoens are fact, not myth.

3)   Myth:

  • Pot doesnt cause cancer
  • Pot is not addicitve
  • Pot is harmless
  • Driving while high is safer than driving drunk
  • Weed isnt as bad as cigarettes
  • There are no long term consequences to smoking weed
  • Marijuana isnt as popular as other drugs
  • Young kids wont be exposed to marijuana
  • Parents who experimented with marijuana in their youth would be hypocrites if they told their kids not to try it

      Fact:

  • Marijuana has over 400 carcinogens
  • Marijuana is addictive
  • Mariujana can cause cancer
  • Mariujuana has long terms affects
  • Young kids are likely to be exposed to marijuana
  • Marijuana is a popular drug of choice
  • Marijuana is just as bad as cigarettes; if not worse
  • Driving while high is not as safe as driving while drunk (not saying you should drive drunk)
  • Marijuana causes harm to your body in more ways than one
  • Marijuna give you physical withdrawls
