My Alternative HIgh is a shared effort between my students and I to create an example of the best uses of the web for learning. But since I lack any formal technical skills, sufficient talent or even really the time to do it all well, you get this, our very best effort as we chart our own course toward integrating learning, high standards and 21st century youth, at risk or not. Hence, some pages have more content than others; some are really good, or even outstanding... some not so much. A few (but not many) are even empty! Over the past six or seven years, this place has become like an unplumbed cavern with lots of hidden passageways, and some of the best stuff here isn't even in the menu or site index, but buried like treasure waiting to be discovered. The gems are yours to find. So are the lumps of coal. One day I may have sufficient skill, talent and time to devote to its maintenance and growth, but I doubt it. Except for us who are making it, this site is for anyone who can use it.
