i have had my own experience with article 6. EVERY ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO RECOGNITION EVERYWHERE AS A PERSON BEFORE THE LAW.  But that is not how the officer that came to my school saw me. i was accused of tagging but was clearly not the one to blame. The officer pulled me out of class and brought me to the office we sat down i had no idea what was going on. He said your here because of the graffitti he gave me no time to talk or say anything in my deffense, that was the least i was pissed about, but before it was all over he said "i know how you mexicans work and stick to there stories wen we get caught for crimes" right then i knew he did not  see me as a person or an equal in society he saw me as a sterotypical mexican american male in other words a gangmember but at the end he felt stupid becuse i was not even there that day the graffitti was put on the school but there was just an automatic assumtion it was me.
