Chlamydia
Vaginal, anal or oral sex.
Men have slight discharge from penis, females usually have no symptoms.
Discharge or burning sensation while urinating
Damage to female reproductive organs. Damage among men are rare
Condoms, abstinence.
Treated and cured with antibiotics.
Gonorrhea
The infection can be spread by contact with the mouth, vagina, penis, or anus.
 
Burning and pain while urinating.
Discharge from the penis or vagina.
Female: pelvic inflammatory disease.
Male: Epididymitis
Infertility and increased risk of ectopic pregnancy.
Condoms, and abstinence.
Antibiotics can successfully cure gonorrhea in adolescents and adults.
Hepatitis
Drugs, alcohol use, or certain medical conditions. But in most cases, it's caused by a virus that infects the liver.
Fatigue, nausea, poor appetite, belly pain, a mild fever, or yellow skin or eyes (jaundice.)
A+B: Sick for a little then it will go away on its own.
A
C: Serious liver damage.
Use clean needles, wash your hands, cook food thoroughly,
and be careful coming in contact with blood. 
A+B: Go away on their own. C: treatment is available to reduce damage on liver but no treatment to make it go away.
Vaccines to prevent it.
Herpes
Can be conceived during sexual contact with someone who is infected with the virus.
Appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum.
Blisters that eventually go away.
Number of outbreaks tends to decrease over a period of years.
Fatal infections in babies
Condoms,
Abstinence.
There is no treatment that can cure herpes, but antiviral medications can shorten and prevent outbreaks during the period of time the person takes the medication.
Human Immunodeficiency Virus
 (HIV)
Unprotected anal sex.
Having multiple sex partners.
Sharing needles.
Being born to an infected mother.
Within a few weeks of being infected with HIV, some people develop flu-like symptoms that last for a week or two, but others have no symptoms at all.
Flu like symptoms for two weeks or so.
Damage a person’s body by destroying specific blood cells, called CD4+ T cells, which are crucial to helping the body fight diseases.
Death.
Abstain from sex, reduce sex partners, condoms and using new unshared syringes.
If you have HIV, you can get medical care, treatment, and supportive services to help you stay healthy and reduce your ability to transmit the virus to others.
Condoms, limit sex partners, abstain from sex.

Papilloma
Virus
(HPV)
Genital contact, most often during vaginal and anal sex. HPV may also be passed on during oral sex and genital-to-genital contact.
Most people with HPV do not develop symptoms or health problems from it. In 90% of cases, the body’s immune system clears HPV naturally within two years.

Pelvic
Inflammatory Disease
(PID)
Complication of some sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), especially chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Symptoms include fever, unusual vaginal discharge that may have a foul odor, painful intercourse, painful urination, irregular menstrual bleeding, and pain in the right upper abdomen (rare).
 
Flu or cold like symptom.

Cured with several types of antibiotics
Pubic Lice
Teenagers and usually spreads during sexual activity
Contact with objects such as toilet seats, sheets, blankets, or bathing suits at a store. However, this type of spreading is rare.
 
Pubic lice are small, six-legged creatures that infect the pubic hair area and lay eggs. These lice can also be found in armpit hair and eyebrows.
itching in the area covered by pubic hair (it often gets worse at night).
Itching sores.
Infestation to other parts of the body, you wont have friends.
Abstinence, condoms, shave.
Prescription wash.
Syphilis
Transmission most often occurs through direct contact with a syphilis sore during vagina, anal, or oral sex.
Sores in genital area, swelling of the nymph nodes
The chancre lasts for 28- 42 days, heals without treatment.
May leave little scars.
Abstinence, minimized sex partners, condoms. Get tested for std’s
A single intramuscular injection of penicillin, an antibiotic, will cure a person who has had syphilis for less than a year.
