This is something new I will be doing but once again this wont be a consistent thing I am very busy and may miss many posts due to it so I apologize now.

This first will be a great ska punk band called Streetlight Manifesto

Lead singer Tomas Kalnoky born in Prague, Czechoslovakia has actually gone through three bands before he started Streetlight Manifesto. The first band being Gimp I am not really familiar because I can not find there one album anywhere. His next band Catch 22 was another ska punk band and was awesome. There couldn't have been any other ska punk band better live than these guys. Catch 22 released 5 albums and is still around today, but since Tom left the group in 2000 the band went down hill.

     In 2002 Tom gathered friends and other local musicians and started Streetlight Manifesto. There first album was called Everything Goes Numb and this album is pretty awesome, even though I have not nearly listened to it as much as their next and my personal favorite album Somewhere In The Between.
    
     This album is amazing, ok first track We Will Fall Together right off the bat you hear what sounds like an army of trumpets and saxophones and trombones just bursting out in medley with the guitars and bass. They play some solos and stuff then Tom's voice comes in, at first it sounds real different but in a good way and you get used to it fast. Then you get my favorite song Down Down Down To Mephisto's Cafe which sounds like 3 songs in one. I would talk about every track in particular but I'm Short on time so i will explain one more thing before my Top 5.

     This band is very strong on its views about religion, every song they wrote is about religion. There view is that there is no god and his hope has crippled people mentally, causing them not to take actions in hard times and just hope god solves it. Also how if god really loves you why does he make you live a life of pain. These are there believes not mine but they are entitled to whatever they believe, I find it ironic that I love this band that hates god, but I believe that Jesus Christ is my lord and Savior
